Cast Announcement for noëL & Gertie
We're delighted to announce the cast of the upcoming production NOËL & GERTIE.
Starring as Noël Coward is Gary Tushaw whose theatre credits include SUNSET BOULEVARD (ENO), SWEENEY TODD (ENO), THE MOUSETRAP (St Martin's Theatre) and LES MISÉRABLES (Queen’s Theatre).
Rebecca Trehearn will be playing the role of Gertrude Lawrence. Rebecca played Beverly in INDIGO (Curve Theatre) and has played in BECOMING NANCY (Birmingham Rep), CINDERELLA (Gillian Lynne Theatre) and KISS ME KATE (Watermill, Newbury). Rebecca won the Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical for her role of Julie in Showboat.
They will be joined by Joey Hickman and Michaela Murphy as ensemble.
Join us from Wednesday 8 to Saturday 11 October for this charming story of two lifelong friends in the glamourous golden age of British theatre.

We're excited to share a few of our ‘favorite things’ as we announce the full company for our Made at Curve Christmas production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC.
Joining the previously announced Molly Lynch as Maria and David Seadon-Young as Captain von Trapp are two-time Olivier Award-winner Joanna Riding as Mother Abbess, Aviva Tulley as Liesl and Faye Brookes as Baroness Elsa Schraeder.
Also making their dazzling return to Curve's stage this Christmas will be Megan Ellis, Rachel Izen, Minal Patel, Mark Peachey, Keanna Bloomfield, Harrison Burley, Will Luckett and Louie Wood.

Following two hugely successful UK tours, and sold-out concerts at The London Palladium last year, everyone’s favourite kooky family are back on stage this summer in THE ADDAMS FAMILY, starring Alexandra Burke (The X Factor, SISTER ACT, THE BODYGUARD) as Morticia, Lesley Joseph (Birds of a Feather, YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, SISTER ACT) as Grandma, Clive Rowe (THE PRINCE OF EGYPT, SISTER ACT, A CHRISTMAS CAROL) as Uncle Fester and Ricardo Afonso (JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, THRILLER LIVE, WE WILL ROCK YOU) as Gomez.

Paul Zerdin: Jaw Drop
Featuring the remarkable talents of ventriloquist Paul Zerdin, the show brings to life a delightful cast of characters including Sam, the cocky teenager; Albert, the 96-year-old with a razor sharp wit; and the Baby, who hilariously believes the world revolves around him.
Adding to the hilarity are Paul’s dim-witted American bodyguard Roger and an outrageous Urban Fox.
This tour also marks the return of Paul’s TV and radio personality character, Alasdair Rimmer, who is eager to make a comeback with Paul’s help.
As a former America’s Got Talent winner, Paul promises an evening of top-notch stand-up comedy and ventriloquism, including his famous human dummy routine with an exciting new twist.
The Lost Breath
The universe moves through us, longing to dance the ancient tales — to transform forgotten histories into celebration.
This is a ritual in cycles — a ceremony of memory, where voices long buried rise again through the body.
THE LOST BREATH channels ancestral feminine stories through Kesha’s moving form and spirit. The work is shaped by her unique movement language and journaled trance states —experiences drawn from prayer, animist journeying, and meditative thresholds.
Central to this process is Kesha’s deep engagement with South Asian women in Leicester, particularly those over 60, whose voices and lived memories of the recent past have been gathered through intimate workshops and interviews, bridging the ancestral with the contemporary, and inviting present-day women to feel seen, heard, and deeply witnessed.
This offering extends beyond the stage — towards film, community ritual, and the reclamation

On the second Saturday of each month, we host CQ Earlies – fun, free, and creative sessions for children and families.
This month, let’s get our vocal chords going with an introduction to voice with Mary Bonam. Join Mary to discover your inner voice, how to use it to create characters and also make beautiful music with it.
The workshop will culminate in creating a group vocal orchestra!

Since January, we're proud to have supported home-schooling during the third national lockdown with our educational initiative, Curve Classroom.
The free sessions cover a range of topics for all ages and are delivered by a host of leading artists including performers Molly Lynch, Garry Robson and Hareet Deol, Designers Grace Smart and Kate Unwin, Director Julia Thomas, Choreographers Arlene Phillips and Mel Knott, Writers Jess Green and Rob Ward, as well as a number of Midlands-based artists local to Curve in Leicester.
